This resort is off the beaten track so if you are looking for night life don't bother. It's location in the rainforest makes it marvellous for relaxing and enjoying nature. Attentive friendly hosts and lovely facilities. Dining room is on a decking with the best views.

This place has six rooms, is in the middle of nowhere, is run by a Swiss couple and is really quirky. The food was great, the room was very nice and large (three rooms, really) and the owners were fabulous. There is a great deal of wild life on the premises and certainly much more in the vicinity. Wish we had stayed more then one night.

We loved our two nights at Cedar Park. It is on the edge of the rainforest. We were able to see native animals from the deck where we ate our delicious dinner, which we were able to buy at extra cost. Rosy was a great host, which set the tone of our break. There are a couple of tame wallabies onsite. The only downside was when we found evidence of an animal's visit to our room - unsure how this happened, but was a bit of a laugh.
