We had a great time at Cedar Park. The hosts were very friendly and couldnt do enough to make our stay perfect and the food was sensational. I would definately recommend it.

The Gothic architecture in a bush setting was a pleasant surprise. The included breakfasts were great as was the outdoor dining setting. We had one evening meal there that was the best meal of our 10 day north Queensland holiday - good choice & superb presentation (professional ) No TV (but bedside radio worked) but if you want a quiet retreat, you don't need it They said the flying fox worked but it looked scary with fraying rope The spar didn't work and was told it was being repaired The log fire in open area at night was great The paths to the river where pleasant as were the wallabies peacocks & other birds

What a magic place. Surrounded by rainforest with peacocks and wallabies outside door. Open restaurant felt like sitting in rainforest and food and service 5 star. A very friendly relaxing stay

room was very clean & well designed walked out door & into the beautiful rainforest service was very friendly meals were absolutely delicious its a bit of a journey getting to resort but well worth the drive thank you for making our all too short stay a very memorable one

Gorgeous resort tucked away in the rainforest. We were treated like family. And the food was amazing - the best we had in the two weeks we spent all over Australia.

Recently stayed here with my wife and had a fantastic stay. We had rented a car and stayed at this resort on a week long vacation. The resort was in the perfect location to what all of Cairns had to offer and was in a beautiful and peaceful setting. The resort and its staff was amazing and their little personal touches through out the stay by far made the resort stand out over a lot of places we've stayed and traveled. For an example, we booked a day trip to the great barrier reef and went with their recommendation on which tour company to go with and they even packed us a lunch with sandwiches to make sure we had more then enough food and some morning pastries. Such a nice touch! We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the resort from our room (which was HUGE) and the chairs outside on the patio facing the rainforest was a great place to relax after a day of adventure. Their beds gave us a great sleep, even better then our own at home! :-) The dinning experience was top notch. We're able to let them know when we would be having dinner that evening and sure enough once we showed up our dinner was ready for us based off the items we picked off their menu before we left that morning. And....the food... "THE FOOD" was an experience all on its own. You must try the cannelloni. Their use of local ingredients were also a nice touch! We ended our stay & was sad to be going so soon, the week flew by and we would highly recommend staying at the Cedar Park Rainforest Resort.
