Bellstar Suites at Solara Resort

The location was great.

The place was dusty and outdated. The code sent to me didn't work, had to get a new one at 2am. Safe didn't work, nor the wifi. The fireplace in the bedroom was broken.

這間坎莫爾預訂到的住宿居然電梯壞了，而沒有服務人員可以幫忙，也沒有其他房間可換，我入住前也沒有再次提醒電梯沒有修好，而且還是預先扣款。（他聲稱有提醒，但我看提醒的email是說會修到五月，我們入住的六月並沒有說會沒有電梯），我們必須從B1停車場扛著行李箱上2樓。（這個Solara Resort by bellstar hotels 太雷了）如果有朋友要去真心建議不要去這家，櫃檯的態度也不怎麼好，我們在反應這件事的時候，也有其他房客在抗議沒有電梯，並且他們要搬大行李到位於4樓的房間。 我們抵達房間後房間門口居然還丟著之前房客的浴巾，直到我們退房都還在。 房間裡面的設施，尤其是沙發已經舊到都脫皮了。 續後都沒有再有積極回應的處理，只說抱歉。有其他的房客跟我說他們在入住前房東有提醒電梯壞了，而且一個晚上退他們一個晚上$50加幣。 看來有不同的訂房平台服務比較好。

All was great except one glitch — we were told the aurora building would be under renovation, yet it was not said the elevator was not working. We were on the 3rd floor (actually 6-flights of stairs) and it was a rad bit of a pain. Although the hotel tried to make it fun, as if we were doing a step challenge:!) The place itself was great. Good linens, all amenities, super location, walking distance to Canmore village — comfy beds, good shower and really nice landscape.

The aurora building elevator was not working so we had to take the stairs each time. Also, check in for the property in the beginning was difficult since there is no front desk and wanted like me to take a picture of myself prior to check in which could not upload on the Expedia message. Email did not go through whoever agent was asking for it for check in and the lady at the other end of the line barely spoke proper English.Also, the Spa is not “connected” to the resort, it’s its own separate entity even though it’s right there next to the resort. you need to pay extra for and took a rather long time to sign up. However, the pool and hot tub come with the resort and was rather nice

Accommodation was amazing. All our expectations were met. Convenient location, very close to downtown Canmore and miraculous view of nature around. Did not have a chance to use Spa facilities but it is a great bonus to the place 😊

Location and size of rooms.

Safety issue with elevator not working on booked days. An email was sent few days prior but we were not able to read it until the day of our arrival in the property. No other option given or was offered any help. My husband had to go to the ER after our vacation due to severe back pain.

Clean, modern & well kept. Offered quiet evenings after a day of hiking.
