Amalienhof Hotel Weimar

Gute Lage, alles wichtige fussläufig erreichbar. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Guter Service. Nasszelle sehr klein, dafür aber sehr sauber. Gute Betten, Ambiente muss man mögen.

Well-located to old town. We cannot comment on hotel rooms, as we stayed next door in one of the apartments (no lift). It had a little kitchen, with tiny fridge, and nice bathroom. However, as I mentioned to a clerk - there are no hooks at all in the bathroom to hang your towels. Little to no room to put a shaving kit anywhere, either - but, that is a minor item. Our issue was not with the hotel, but that we stayed 3 nights and there is just not that much to do/see in Weimar. Had a the best German meal across town on a Sat night, but then realized that most restaurants are closed on Sunday and Monday. Weimar was like a ghost town (late Jan 2022). We should have stayed in Erfurt for a night - gorgeous medieval town. But, back to the hotel -not sure where they are getting that nice picture of having breakfast on an upstairs balcony, because breakfast is served in the large glass room next to check-in. Breakfast was lovely - they even had sekt served on Sunday (which, for 3 euro/bottle, why not serve on all days?). Cappucino's are extra (not included in bfast). We parked on the street for free v. the hotel parking.

This hotel is quite unique with a lot of antiques. The location is excellent and the price is fair

The hotel was comfortable and an easy walk into the town centre and local restaurants. It was also an ideal location for exploring the wider area around Weimar.

Bei der spontanen Nachtanreise von einer natur freundlichen Mitarbeiter empfangen worden(00:12) Auf Nachfrage mit kleinem Snack verwöhnt worden.Cozy Zimmer in einer alten historischen Stadtvilla.Sehr gutes,variantenreiches kleines Frühstücksbuffet. Toll....jederzeit wieder....absolut weiterzuempfehlen.Fantastisch.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten zu zivilem Preis. Hervorragendes Frühstück!

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Man ist innerhalb wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in der historischen Altstadt, im Park an der Ilm. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell und leicht erreichbar. Zimmer nach hinten raus sehr ruhig und angenehm, nach vorne kann ich nicht beurteilen. Kleine nette Dachterasse. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hotel kann ich nur empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Hotel im alten Stil; sehr guter Service beim Frühstück; das Zimmer war an einigen Stellen etwas abgewohnt, aber die Gestaltung der Möbel und Tapeten passt ideal zu einem Weimar-Besuch, bei dem die Weimarer Klassik im Vordergrund steht; man taucht hier sehr gut in die entsprechende Atmosphäre ein
