Amalienhof Hotel Weimar

Die Lage direkt an der Altstadt und nahe dem Park an der Ilm ist excellent. Zudem eigene Parkplätze im Hof für nen Fünfer. Zimmer sind recht charmant eingerichtet, Bad (Dusche) könnte ein Update aus den 90'ern vertragen. Aber Preis-Leistung ist absolut sehr gut.

We stayed on a weekend in a suite in the adjacent building. While it did not look like much from the outside, we were well pleased with the room, its furnishings and spaciousness. The room was not luxurious, but still very comfortable. The main building was more upscale and modern in appearance. Every member of the staff that we encountered was both friendly and efficient. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in any restaurant in any location in this price range. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and provides very reasonably priced parking. The main points of interest were all within walking distance of the hotel. There are many restaurants, cafes and drinking establishments within a few blocks. The only improvement I would recommend is that they pick up free maps of the city from the tourist information office instead of making photo copies (which were difficult to read). I do not give 5-Point ratings very often, but this hotel certainly earned theirs. When we next visit Weimar, we will certainly book the Amalienhof again.

Wir haben Weimar „auf den Spuren des Bauhauses“ bei herrlichem Herbstwetter erlebt. Das Hotel liegt günstig für Unternehmungen; das Personal begegnet den Gästen gegenüber ist außerordentlich persönlich. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und wird immer wieder nachgelegt.

Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Zimmer sehr geräumig. Beim Frühstück große Auswahl und alles frisch. Vielleicht nicht das billigste Hotel, aber man bekommt dafür Qualität.

Very comfortable with very friendly staff. Extremely convenient for the centre and sights of Weimar which are all within easy walking distance.. Tasty breakfast was included and there is private parking on site.

Das Amalienhof Hotel in Weimar war der perfekte Ort für unsere Streifzüge durch Weimar. Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen und bin bestimmt bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Weimar dort wieder zu Gast!
