Amalienhof Hotel Weimar

We were three and they put us in one of the apartments which had lots of light! The staff was very friendly and the breakfast delicious - the baked goods and homemade muesli were especially good. The location is perfect - you can walk to all the sights from there. And there's free parking!

Only few steps to the most attractions, historic rooms, lovely personal, great breakfast. I loved to be there and surely will come back sometimes. Its more a home than a hotel. In summertime you can sit outside at the second floor and enjiy your great view over the roofs of Weimar.

Amalienhof is a nice hotel and has a great location in Weimar. Big plus for parking lot. We had an apartment that was recently renovated. If you stayed longer there are all you would need for having lunch, coffee break etc. Very very kind staff.

Lovely hotel in an old house near the center of Weimar. Staff were very friendly (there are even friendly notes about the antiques, history, etc. around the hotel) and the building is really charming. Perfect for a honeymoon or family trip with older children (maybe not perfect for kiddos still racing down hallways, etc.). Value is excellent.

Allerdings ist es in der warmen Jahreszeit bei offenen Fenstern sehr laut, da gegenüber ein Studentenwohnheim ist. Zwar liegen Ohropax auf dem Nachttisch, aber wer die so hasst wie ich, kann erst lang nach Mitternacht Ruhe finden.

We were able to book this hotel ( I think) because someone else had cancelled. Initially there was no availability anywhere in Weimar for our dates. We had a suite on the ground floor which was very spacious with lovely period furniture. The hotel is very near to all local attractions- Weimar is not a big place. The breakfast is plentiful and imaginative and there are daily information bulletins on the tables. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there is a wide choice in Weimar.. Parking is free. We sat on the terrace one afternoon enjoying some drinks in the sunshine. There is also a room on the first floor where one can relax. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend.

This hotel was quite compatible with the spirit of the city of Weimar itself: palacelike, stylish, decorative. Personnel were friendly and breakfast good. - The terrible magnifying mirror in the bathroom could reveal The Portrait of Dorian Gray. - The distance from the main railway station was longer than I had understood. My mistake.

Hotel leicht erreicbar. Parkplatz vorhanden. Freundlicher Empfang und Service. Gediegenes, komfortabeles Zimmer. Die Kultur der Stadt konnte man mit Komfort genießen.
