A fantastic location and had a lake view. Easy walk both ways from hotel. Breakfast was very good especially as there was cake. Had a meal in the restaurant which was very good plus live music as a bonus. The room was fine once we warmed it up and the bed really comfortable. Enjoyed the bird life on the lake and in the nature areas around. Had booked 2nights but extended it to 4 - we were enjoying it that much.

Water in the shower was not hot all the time and quite tepid at peak times. The spa was little disappointing. Neither the steam room or the sauna got really hot. Had to book to go in the spa. Did have a couple of drinks in the bar but both times had to leave it at one drink due to cigarette smoke. Minor irritations to what was a great 4 days.

Excellent location and decent spa made our stay very enjoyable. There is also a good restaurant in the hotel.

There is some smell in the rooms. I can’t put my finger on it, and you get used to it fast, but you can clearly smell it after a walk and it is not nice. Overall, the hotel is pretty old and has seen better days

Schöne Lage direkt am See. Sauna, Dampfbad, Whirlpool.
