Hotel Godwin Deluxe

Our room had been changed to the sister hotel next door called the GODWIN GRAND. Hotel staff were friendly, very organized and welcoming even though we arrived in the small hours of the morning. Airport pickup went as planned. Restaurant was very good with lots of freshly cooked choices. Room was clean with a large comfortable bed.

It was nice to stay.I had a limited time as reached late and left early.

We booked the new hotel but they took us to the old hotel. It's a dirty place. I went to the front desk and asked how much would it cost for taxi to another hotel "he said it's 300" the manager heard us talking and he said "it cost u 500 rupee". They are cheap they just want your money they don't care about you. The room was very stinky and noisy. The restaurant food was not good. Everything in this hotel is expensive. It's a terrible location full of noise. They are not honest people. Online picture is not even 1% true.

there is a line of 3 star hotels on Delhis own lighted las vegas street (-casino) , Paharganj and this hotel was the most welcoming of all In terms of property upkeep. value for money hotel So do not expect gizmos. Anything essential missing they prompt in fixing it.

It was great stay at Godwin Deluxe.. Very good property and one of the best we stayed at Delhi.. Loved the decoration.. The staff at Reception and Restaurant are great. Indian grill restaurant at down is superb for varieties especially tikkkas and biriyani. Memorable stay and will recommend to anyone. Easy access to shopping areas. The road is crowded... But transport easily available. Best among all the nearby hotels.

It is a nice hotel if you stay out of the street side. Very comfortable beds. My bathroom smelled awful, but after i asked to be clean it again they did it. It is near the metro. Clean and comfi beds, good wifi, ok breakfast, helpful people

I have stayed here on numerous occasions but I think this will be my last. The standard of the hotel has decreased significantly. Why do these hotels never repair or replace anything. It use to be a good value hotel but unfortunately no longer.was

Hotel supposedly provided roundtrip return transfer to/from airport. Hotel tried to charge me for stay although prepaid, solved that, on check out and return to airport, hotel explained complimentary transfer free only one way so had to pay for return to airport. Poor customer communication in my opinion. Oh yes, had to keep the drapes closed, not pretty sight outside although room itself was fine. Hotel staff did not appreciate any form of criticism.

I was not provided the airport pick up and they never informed me about this until I phoned them to tell about my flight time. The person who talked me on phone was irritating and he frustrated me by telling that the government had banned the diesel and petrol vehicles hence I have to make my own arrangements to come to the hotel. He never listened to my problems and just disconnected the phone. I was surprised to hear this man and thought that this hotel is not responding ethically to the problems of customers. "Airport pick up" was one of the motivating factors for me to book this hotel, and now I was totally disappointed with the response from this man. I managed to come to the hotel and talked to the person at the front desk. There was another gentleman who repeated the same version which I had heard on phone. I had a small argument with this gentleman, and he told me that he will talk to the manager. He later informed me that the hotel will now provide me with a drop off service. Which was fine for me. I THINK CUSTOMERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RULES AND REGULATIONS CHANGED BY THE GOVERNMENT. THEY PAY FOR THE STAY AND EXPECT TO GET ALL THE FACILITIES THAT HAVE BEEN PROMISED IN THE WEBSITES. THE HOTELs ARE RESPONSIBLE TO ADJUST TO THE CHANGED CONTEXT AND CONTINUE THEIR BEST SERVICES.THE CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT GET FRUSTRATION BECAUSE OF SUCH RESPONSE WHICH I GOT IN THE BEGINNING FROM THE STAFF. It was good that the hotel corrected its response. Thanks..I had a nice stay.
