Oceanside Resort - Absolute Beachfront Apartments

It was pretty good only let down was floors were dirty and made your feet black

We have been regular visitors to Oceanside Resort. Glenn and Karen are very welcoming,very helpful and professional managers. The units are clean comfortable and great views. Right on the beach and the facilities beautifully maintained. We highly recommend it.

Thank goodness there are still locations on the Gold Coast where you can escape the pretentiousness of the likes of Surfers Paradise & Broadbeach. A week here with the beautiful beach & ocean just a few steps away took me back to memories of family holidays in the 60's & 70's when life was so much simpler. The managers were lovely & very helpful, the location was perfect & the apartment was great - not luxurious, but comfortable & practical with everything we needed. Nice coffee from the corner store literally on the doorstep, & not far from great restaurants & supermarkets. If you want nightclubs, high end shops & restaurants head to the aforementioned locations. If you want a bit of peace, a beautiful beach & to swim in the clear ocean, this is the place for you!

I arrived prior to my parents to ensure flowers on table & refreshments in fridge. Apparently we arrived just after "schoolies". I had packed cleaning wipes and glad of it .........but not sure that is a decent excuse for not cleaning the apartment ....... avocado pit/grime and other seeds/stuff in crevice between cupboard and fridge. 2 room apartment, but very small and awkward bedrooms/bathrooms. Only a couple of spots in visitor parking, so if there's a couple of people sharing a unit - someone will probably have to park on road. The pool area is in no way inviting.

Over the years we have stayed at Oceanside resort and have returned after a break of 10 years.Location is good the view is magnificent looking up and own the coast. Our apartment on the 1st floor was comfortable & clean. The mattress needs to be changed. On site managers were accommodating as we had a change in circumstances and needed to come a couple of days early. Only down side is that you need to drive to get a coffee or eat out.. Would certainly stay there again

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Oceanside Resort in Bilinga and would completly recommend this to any family looking for a quiet getaway location within close proximity to the action on the GC. Near enough, but far enough away! Unfortunatly we couldnt get the same apartment for our entire 2 week stay, despite Glenn and Karens best efforts, but both units we stayed in were lovely. We had previously read some mediocre comments on TA regarding the units but took these with a pinch of salt, as you do. This resort does exactly what it says on the tin. Its comfortable, clean and right on the beach. It was perfect for our family. The first week we stayed in apartment 8 which had fantastic northfacing ocean views. While the unit could probably do with some minor refreshing, it was clean, comfortable and quiet. (If we were looking for 5 star, we would have stayed 5 star and paid 5 star....) The second week, we were on the ground floor in apartment 2, which again was clean etc. Very convenient to the pool and beach! Our only negative was that we felt the ensuites could probably do with some frosting on the windows for privacy. All in all, glad we chose the oceanside resort and would have no qualms returning!

The reception was a little rude after I had a long trip. He then spent quite a while in my room trying to lock off one of the 3 bedrooms when all I wanted to do was have a shower. I didn't see anyone for the entire stay after that. The cleanliness was poor

Went to a wedding on the beach. Booked a room to stay for two nights.

We had a two bedroom apartment, but should probably have gone for a three bedroom as with a cot in the second bedroom there was not enough room. I think the apartment is ready for an upgrade, because mildew is starting to appear in second bathroom and rust in various other places. Looked at the three bedroom apartment on the way out and that looks fantastic. Position & area was great - couldn't get better.
