Samson's Village

I recommend this hotel, not expensive, very clean comfortable close to everything, walking distance. Staff is amazing

The staff were amazing! From the transportation to and from the hotel to the quick reponse to any requests, the people at the hotel were delightful. Close proximity to a really great beach was a real plus.

A wonderful place. The beach wasn't particularly special, but as the pool was so good we felt no real need to go there.

Very cute little family run hotel, staff went above and beyond in order to help guests. Pool was very nice and well maintained, and rooms were well maintained and clean. Rooms had everything you would need, and hotel was located close to beach and many restaurants. Also close to a bus stop that will take you to Fira (~20 mints or Oia (~35 mins). Would recommend staying in Perissa over Fira or Oia easily.

Samson's village is an AWESOME choice for enjoying what Santorini has to offer. It is about 100 steps (literally under a 1 minute walk) to the beach and it is very close to local transportation. The location is on the Perissa end of the island, but the local bus is easy to catch and very cheap (2.40 Euro each way) to go to Thira (the capital), and slightly more to go all the up to Oia. As it is away from the capital, prices for souvenirs and food are much more reasonable and it is MUCH less crowded. Samson's village is also a short walk from "The Big COOP", a local grocery store where produce is cheap and fresh. Staff at the hotel are very nice - and they will even pick you up from the airport or port for FREE! They are very friendly and will answer all your questions. **WARNING** You can not drink the water on Santorini Island. The staff did not tell us this until we asked....which would be a negative and hopefully they will advise future guests of this when they first arrive. The good thing, the water is cheap at the grocery store, about 2 Euro for 6 one litre bottles. All the rooms seem to be like mini apartments, with a stove and fridge. The colours are also the white and blue that you picture when you imagine Santorini - giving it that extra special touch. We will definitely stay here again :)

Loved Samson's village. The whole family ensured our stay was as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The bright blue and white apartments were clean, cosy and cool (good reprieve from the heat!). The pool is lovely to hang out by and their is a little bar you can order drinks and food from. The rooms have kitchenette's - so you can cook and buy food which is handy. It's a few minutes walk to Perissa beach and a plethora of restaurants and places to eat. The main street has 24/7 bakeries (a must) and it's easy to hire a car\book tours.
