Gina's Garden Lodges

Great little place away from the main parts, like your very own garden Oasis. Staff went above and beyond picking and dropping off at the airport (with late notice, oops) and also helping me with scooter hire and what activities to do.

Garden-like setting with plenty of privacy (other than the wild chickens) and a great restaurant just a short walk away. The internet was a bit fussy during storms, but otherwise fine. The villa was spacious and the kitchen came equipped with the basics I needed during my short stay. They were able to arrange airport pickup and drop-off.

The owner's relative greeted me warmly, but after that I never had any in-person interaction with the owners or staff. I reported a few maintenance issues via the app, which unfortunately weren't addressed during my stay. The electric kettle was invaluable in boiling water to safely drink it; it would've been helpful to have a bottle of chilled or room-temperature water upon my arrival so I wouldn't need to wait for it to cool. And it was thoughtful of them to provide a mosquito coil, but including matches or a lighter would've made it usable.

A Gina é muito querida e atenciosa. Não mede esforço para receber bem. Tudo que solicitei, me atendeu. Me deu carona, me ajudou com aluguel de carro. Uma ótima anfitriã. O lugar é muito seguro, ainda mais que estava sozinha. Obrigada Gina pelos dias.

Peace and quiet

Nothing at all

No breakfast was provided. We liked the surroundings of being in lovely gardens. It was a quiet and peaceful location All of out little requests were met by lovely staff.

The bed arrangement was uncomfortable. The pillows were either too low or too high and old. The whole bed needs replacing as well. I kept rolling towards the middle as my husband is heavier than me. Having a queen bed and good mattress would fix this problem. The shower was hard to control at a warm flow. It was either boiling hot or freezing cold. We had to spend the whole shower time adjusting the temperature. All the screens on the place are dirty and some are moldy. The whole place needs a good Spring clean.

Not clean tbh. Smelt like dust n mothball, Lots of spider webs on the roof and in the bathroom along with daddy long legs spiders around the bathroom especially. Lots of insects dead and alive on the floor inside property
