Seventy-four Ranch

This place came reccomended by a wedding venue close by and it was very convenient for that, but i would not book a stay again. My daughter had the Master bedroom and the view was gorgeous (as promised) but the shared bathroom was actually shared by 3 rooms so you heard flushing and showering constantly. Add to that the constant road noise. And there was not a single mirror in the room anywhere????Additionally, the bottom of her dress was dusty and dirty because there are no paved paths and you either walk across the front yard or through the dusty backyard to get to your room. Not good for a formal wedding with a long gown. The owner/ manager even asked my daughter if SHE could show the Mother of the Groom to her room over the barn because they were not allowed to check in early....My daughter did praise the delicious breakfast souffle and said the bed was adequate.This might be a great place for a rustic retreat but it is NOT the place to stay prior to a wedding.

The area behind the B&B was lovely, very serene and pleasant. There was some road noise out front though. The host was very gracious and accomodating. Sharing a bathroom was difficult but I was aware ahead of time. The Blue Room bed was small. Overall, though. It was a very nice, peaceful experience.

200 year old working ranch house was very clean. Very historic. Host was gracious informative and friendly. The breakfast was delicious.

Such a beautiful home and property! Pam is so welcoming it makes the stay there very special.

Weekend get-away before I go back to work. Beautifully restored home c-1850. Former WSB anchorwoman runs this beautiful working ranch. We stayed in the Blue Room. The room decor is fit for a ranch room; everything was just right. The windows let natural light in. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious! One day, we had homemade waffles topped with fresh berries.Our last breakfast was creeme cheese filled french toast, OJ, and coffee. All set in the garden. There are SO many things to do around Jasper; wineries, Panorama Apple Orchards, and Talking Rock just a few minutes away. We will be returning!

This was a life changing experience! When I searched for a place to stay to be near my sister’s wedding I had no idea what a special experience I was signing up for. Mrs. Pam and Manny are two of the most considerate host. I felt at home immediately. The horse back riding was so much fun and freeing. Their animals are some of the happiest I’ve ever seen. You can wake up and eat breakfast on the patio while watching the horses roam and roll happily in the field. I will be back to this beautiful ranch many more times!!
