The place and owner has a personality that you will not find at a hotel. Pam does her best to accommodate her guests. And she likes to tell stories about the place during breakfast. I was sorry that we had to skip the second day's breakfast to catch a flight.

"Great place"

10.0

We had a great time! We loved that the small feel allowed us to get to know the other guests. By the end of the weekend we were all friends. I enjoyed petting and feeding the horses. Pam and her ranch hands were super welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed the history lessons while we ate. We will definitely be back again!!!

Pam is a wonderful host and her breakfast casseroles are delicious! She has every little detail readily available with small extra touches everywhere. Beds were comfy and the whole property is such a unique experience for whatever kind of getaway you are looking for.

"Great place to stay!"

My friend and I had a wonderful stay here. Our room was so adorable and clean. Our host was so sweet! She cooked us a lovely breakfast. We were able to look at the ranch and explore outside, which was beautiful to look at. I highly recommend staying here if you ever find yourself in Jasper.

The property is a combination of old house and barn/cabin rooms. While rustic, it's still clean and offers everything we needed for pleasant night.

The horses are friendly. Pam is knowledgeable about the main house and property. Property is RIGHT beside a main road and traffic is VERY loud all through the night. It only let up for a few hours. Can’t answer for main house but the porch cabin is very rustic. If you are not worried about the level of noise it is cute, quant place to stay. No hair dryer. No tv. And wifi is bad. So make it a device free stay and it is right up your alley. You share a bathroom with saddle cabin and the doors creak very loud so it is hard to be quiet. We had awesome neighbors that was just as worried about being quiet as we were so we lucked up. The breakfast was made fresh that morning and we all ate together.

"Okay Stay"

8.0

The property is beautiful and full of unique history, but the lodging house itself is showing its age. Things just need to be updated - only sheer curtains on the room that literally let in the street light, electrical outlets with covers missing, bathroom window that allows others to look in, windows themselves cracked/worn/leaky, porch wood deteriorating, lots of noise from traffic, and just an overall tired place that seems to have outlived its days of glory. Has great potential though to be stellar once again. Host was kind, flexible, and very communicative. Breakfast was good but way too sweet (french toast casserole).
