Alabaster Motor Inn Taree

Generous room with kitchenette area. Bathroom has been updated, but doesn't have a sink (it's in the living/bedroom), which I found a bit odd, and water pressure is a bit weird (makes a noise when you turn on taps in the shower). Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Nice pool. Couple of minutes walk to IGA, local shops and bakery, but around 2km into the centre of Taree so a bit of a walk. Unfortunately, I had a misunderstanding about room bookings so ended up paying for an extra night due to reception desk not communicating with the owner, despite me checking and re-checking that my request for two separate one-night bookings had been combined into one two-night stay in the same room. Free WiFi but remember to ask for code at reception when you check in. Facilities are good and it's convenient so would stay again, but remember to talk to the owner if you want anything done - not reception!

Room Interior has been modernly refurbished and is comfortable. However the bathroom was not clean. There was no telephone in room to contact reception and no directory with maps or local attractions The exterior of hotel needs work. Pool needs to be cleaned.

When booked we expected a double and two single beds and instead got a double and a fold out couch, very uncomfortable! Couldn't get cold water out of the bathroom tap, inside of the kettle wasn't too flash and we saw two cockroaches come out from under the fridge. We knew we weren't getting 5 star accommodation but we're a little disappointed

Clean and convenient location in town, staff were friendly and room was updated and included all necessary ammenities.

Stayed in the family room. A lot poorer condition than the photo. The pool area was messy, weeds all over the place. It looked like it was the mess left after a party. There was no safety signage in the pool. No fly screen meant we were visited by bugs through the night.

We spent 1 night here. The room was clean and comfortable. Chocolates on the pillows and arrangement of towels was a nice little touch. Would recommend this motel if you need to stop in Taree for a night or two.

Hotel is ok for a night stop over clean but cupboards smell moldy and we forgot our pillows there and they didn't even call us to let us know but overall it was comfortable

a hotel has doing renovation ,a room has broken security lock, the tapes are leaking,restaurant is not working

We were very happy with this accommodation and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The receptionist greeted us very warmly. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
