Alabaster Motor Inn Taree

This was a last-minute decision and we are so glad we made it! The rooms, while simple, have been recently refurbished and had the most comfortable beds that I experienced in my whole trip! The bathroom was also a welcome surprise since the exterior of the motel looks a bit "dated". A bit of advice though - don't turn the shower on full. While it is great with the rain shower head, the drain can't cope with the flow.

Lovely friendly and efficient guy at front desk. Room is clean and comfortable. Cars are parked right at room doors so a bit of an issue if you're noise sensitive and your "neighbors" aren't considerate in their comings and goings. Cleanliness excellent every time we stayed.

Web says Restaurant but no restaurant nor has there been for years. Could not even get breakfast on my recent stay. Never again

I've stayed here with my family before, the motel is undergoing renovations, the rooms are very clean, comfortable beds, the location for us is good, local restaurants & hotel across the road. We will definitely stay again.

We had an overnight stay at this hotel. Checking in I couldn't help but notice a strong cigarete smell in reception which concerned me. Fortunately our room smelt fresh and it was clean. The hotel is situated on the northern outcerts of the cbd. If you are wanting to stay in the town there are other hotels to choose from. We ate at the Taree Golf Club and we couldn't fault the food and service.

Room was refurbished very recently, bed was excellent, furniture all new. Only problem was noise from adjacent room, through the interconnecting door (which was locked) but TV was loud and left on for too long. Recommend asking for a quiet room that does NOT have an interconnecting door. We were told about the door but were not told the adjacent room had a guest.

Stopped for a night on the way to Queensland. An older style, a little tired looking but the bed was quite comfy, pillows were good, hot water plentiful and variety of food choices across the road. We loved the Thai place. The room had comfy chairs and a table meaning we didn't have to eat on our bed. The kitchenette was limited with just a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge , 2 mugs, 2 glasses and one teaspoon and 1 butter knife. Was fine for us because we were just passing through and left early in the morning. Breakfast is available at a cost but we didn't do it. Was very quiet so slept well and the reception welcome was effortless. Also great towels. Suited us for a night and the price was very reasonable

We have traveled extensively domestic and abroad and this was the cleanest and most comfortable motel room we have stayed in. Staff are amaising. We will revisit
