Pool wasn’t clean bath wasn’t clean poor lighting in the pool wasn’t safe at night mattress wasn’t comfortable we asked and were willing to pay for rose petals on arrival and didn’t get them then we told them about the broken thing and things not clean and nothing was done about it and noise from Reno going in villa across from us

The staff were accommodating. They were very pleasant and friendly. I would go back and recommend it.

The location is awesome. Walking distance from a ton of things in town, shopping, food, activities, beaches. The entryway and pathways to the villas were stunning. Lots of growth and water features. It was very pretty. The privacy of the villa is great as well! We loved having the private pool and the outdoor sitting area to hangout. We were not bothered at all with bugs even though some other reviewers said they were horrible. Our experience was pretty much completely void of bugs and the staff fumigated every single night in the whole villa and also lit mosquito repellant burners outside on our patio. The staff were quick to clean up in the mornings, often knocking on the entry door before 10am. The cleaning was ok, the floors and walls of the place could use some love. The cabinets throughout the villa were worn and difficult to open and close. It's clearly an older establishment and I imagine it would've been absolutely breathtaking in it's day. That being said it was still beautiful. We can get passed the small things. There was one specific thing we found bad. The wooden deck around the pool. It's less of a deck and more of a liability. We barely wanted to step on it. All of the boards were loose and wabbled. Many of the nails were sticking up because the supporting joists underneath are rotten. We actually used a rock from the garden to knock down a bunch of the nails on our first day. The deck needs to be fixed before someone gets a nail through the foot.

The property desperately needs an overhaul. Countless problems with the villa. Stayed 4 nights and I complained from 1st night that the TV wasn't working. It wasn't fixed by the time I checked out. The staff kept apologizing about all the issues but I gathered that the facility doesn't even have a full time maintenance person. Some yourself money and frustration by staying somewhere else.

Friendly staff and great location

I have been in Indonesia for 10 years. Finding very clean and functional places to stay at in this country is not common, so when I do find one, I typically stick with them for future bookings. I will not be booking another stay at this place again. The latest bad reviews before mine are quite accurate. I wish I had read the reviews before the cancellation date. I read the reviews the day of the check-in, before check-in, and to my horror… My star rating is solely for the friendly staff, and location. Location is great. I barely had to use any pickup service to go to my preferred activities when on holiday: eat good foods at great restaurants, have great coffee, and spend time on my laptop. What was wrong with this place, off the top of my head, includes but is not limited to the following: -white towels and linens that have turned gray, -said towels and linens have multiple stains of multiple colors (including those big red stains you can image from what…) -critter droppings and smells everywhere (likely from cat, mice, rat, and tiny lizards, including in supposedly clean towels) -room door handle breaking in my hand -low pool water level (likely to accommodate local tourists, unfortunately water jets were annoyingly loud and inconsistent because of the low water level) -walls with drip stains on them -dust and other sediments accumulations at the base of most recesses -roof dust and alang-alang continuously accumulate in the bath tub and washroom -bedroom door only needs to be pushed-in to allow a breaking and entering -tiny soiled useless trashcans (obviously soiled by prior tenants, I had to leave my trash outside since it did not fit in the trashcans) -etc… Staff is helpful when you point out what to clean… The things is, I did not want to spend my holiday teaching them how and what to clean! I wanted to relax and there were a great many things that needed cleaning or fixing. So I kept to a bare minimum, which they appeared to maintain on the first 2 days.
