Great Location with amazing snorkelling at the front of resort. Very friendly management & staff always very welcoming.

Road into town & airport not great and sometimes hard to arrange transport

Great location, excellent food and service. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

I like that there were two different sets of towels that could gather for all the kids that were there with me. I like bug space in the house.. the way the house was set up especially the central island in the kitchen thats very convenient for food preparation and even the living room. I also like that there's separate toilets and bathrooms for each room. The veranda was really big and so convenient including the lawn for kids to play on. Also like that there's extra soap or toilet paper if needed and there's a hair dryer also available which is so convenient.

OVERALL everything was so good. Just a few suggestions for improvement. biggest cooking pot had no lid. The utensils weren't washed and had dust on them that that we had to wash them again before using. The tabs in one of the rooms had opposite instructions on them - the hot tab was the cold one and the cold one was the opposite instead. There's no bathing soap and we didn't ask but went to buy them including a shampoo. Would be better to have those in the bathroom next time. Having a bigger rubbish pin in the kitchen would've been good as well 🙂.

Very accommodating and the best snorkeling we did the whole entire trip! Damien and his wife were very friendly and helpful our whole trip, whether that was helping organising a fishing trip, helping with a cut on my boyfriends leg and organising transfers. Great snorkeling for all different ages. My 9 year old sister could easily snorkel off the ramp and experience the coral reefs. While adults could access the same reef and going even further out. Lots and lots of fish and my favourite were the clown fish!

Breakfast was available to buy at the restaurant..was ok…coffee not great

the bungalow was quite run down and not really felt clean..the bathroom was old and tired, the toilet brush still had brown liquid in it…shower had old containers still on wall and needed new grouting etc…curtains all a bit old not easy to draw at night…screens dirty…just felt whole place has seen better days..I think it’s fine for expats who are working there and living long term and not expecting higher standards but not a fresh holiday feeling..compared to other places we stayed in Vanuatu…. Loved the washing machine…and the view No kayaks available either as mentioned in the hostel information when I booked….Cracks in them.. We loved the local staff though they were friendly and always seemed to be laughing & happy and the food at Birdies was good mostly but not consistent……….great location

Damien and Caroline were amazing, they went above and beyond to make our stay as best as possible. The Restaurant staff were all lovely and the food was amazing. I had read all the reviews about the Seafood Laksa so gave it a go during my staff. I can see why it was well rated, it was absolutely amazing. Breaky Wrap and Veal Schnitzel were among my other favourites as well. The 1 man band on Sunday "Jimmy" was thoroughly enjoyable and is extremely talented. Overall I highly recommend Island Magic Resort for an enjoyable stay at Port Vila.

Occasional power and water outages.

Great, relaxed and friendly place to stay with everything you need. Fantastic reef just steps away.

We found staying right next to the restaurant/bar was noisy in the evenings so would just ask for a cabin a little quieter next time.

Island Magic was incredible. The bungalows are really spacious, well appointed and have awesome views onto the water. The reef is really healthy, vibrant and teeming with colourful fish, it was so good to be able to snorkle multiple times a day. Theres a really nice jetty and walkway directly onto the reef. Hosts and staff are really nice and welcoming. The onsite restaurant is the hub, with excellent food; guests come from other resorts to dine here. Nearby is the Tanna Coffee, and a public beach which was a lovely walk and opportunity to get to know some locals. At the end of the beach is the new Mali Beach Club to reward yourself with a drink. We didnt want to leave. Thanks Caroline, Damien, and all the staff.

We stayed here for 9 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our lovely bungalow facing the ocean had everything we needed and more. The snorkeling off the jetty was absolutely amazing, the best snorkeling we did and in itself enough to make future plans to return. Our driver, Paul, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The staff at the resort were always smiling and laughing and nothing was too much trouble. And many thanks to Damien and Caroline for being wonderful hosts.

The weather could've been a bit better.

This is a hidden gem away from yhe town of Port Vila. Excellent staff and facilities. Offers all meals and special days of entertainment. Enjoyed!
