Homewood Beaumont, TX

This hotel was by far the best hotel i’ve ever stayed in!! Stepping through the lobby, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They would always be greeting and smiling to us. The manager was as well very accommodating and understanding with me and my family, he is a big pleasure to speak to. The breakfasts was just as amazing, the kids all enjoyed. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and very peaceful. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the visitors coming to beaumont. I will be back to this place soon..!!!

On 3/21/2024 I entered this hotel, because my insurance company booked it for me. With the confirmation number in my hand, I go to check in (my insurance company paid for the room IN FULL), and the young lady sees my reservations and noticed she couldn't complete it for some reason, she goes and get the manager and he comes out, and looks at me and then his computer and says, we no longer take that program, I looked confused and asked him, what does that mean, because I have a confirmation number for a paid room. He says we stop taking that program in October 2023, Right then and there I get on the phone with the insurance company and put it on speaker, I had him to repeat what he told me, and he repeated hisself. I went outside to finish talking to my rep, my rep told me to wait outside and he is gonna call and see whats going on. My rep called me back very upset saying the manager told him (my kind , black female) will not stay at his hotel. I am writing this because NO ONE should be refused service because of their SKIN COLOR... So my rep gets me in to another hotel down the street, and you would know, I told them what happened, and 2 DAYS BEFORE THAT he did it to one of their managers, and she's a BLACK FEMALE... This type of behavior should not be allowed at any HILTON!!!! Let us Boycott this Hotel so that this NEVER happens to another person.

CONSTRUCTION

There was road construction in front of the hotel, be careful and do not miss your turn in. We had to circle back around in the rain and at night. It was a little hard to find. Loved our stay.

Staff was excellent. Hotel was very clean (lobby and room). Enjoyed the breakfast. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again.

This was by far the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. As soon as I walked into the hallway, I could smell how clean it was. Although my room was in the first floor, it was extremely quiet. My room included two big bedrooms and two bathrooms. It also had a stove and full size refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable. It has been the best hotel stay ever!

The suite was clean and well organized. Everything was wonderful. There was even an extra blanket to use. Wonderful.

At the time, this hotel was being renovated. We received a renovated room and it was very, very nice. The property was clean and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. There are some decent restaurants and a movie theatre nearby if you're looking for entertainment. There was a guy ahead of me who was not happy with his room selections. If you're so unhappy and nothing will satisfy you, then go somewhere else. The clerk at the front desk tried very hard to accommodate him, but he would not be helped. The next morning, the manager asked me for my opinion on my stay and I told him what I stated above. He took notes so he could make changes during the renovation. This is what good service looks like. I recommend this hotel for a stay in Beaumont.

Hotel was basic. Decent enough for a one night stay, but the breakfast was inedible. We arrived about 20 min before it ended and there was little to choose from. I didn't eat anything, my son got an "omelette" (factory-made) and bread with jelly, my husband got bacon that looked like the bacon dog treats and made a waffle. After making the waffle found out there was no syrup - was told they were out. My son took one bite of each and threw it away. Room had a bit of a body odor smell upon walking in. There is about a 1" gap under the door, so if anyone in the hallway makes noise you will hear.

There wasn’t enough parking so to the contractors or construction workers vehicles double parked everywhere thru out the premises and it was raining and couldn’t access a door to enter do to a low battery malfunction on the card reader right where we parked so had to walk around getting soaked in rain to enter thru main entrance
