City Edge Serviced Apartments East Melbourne

My stay was alright but the after hour so called cleaning/manager lady is so rude and deceiving. The room we have been given was very smelly and confined. We asked her if there is another room with the park view. "All the rooms are the same and if you want to upgrade you can go to the CityEdge accross the road they may have bigger room" she said. We decided to leave the property and called the call centre to cancel our reservation. He asked us our reason and said there are two unoccupied rooms why don't you check them out. The room has park view, was way much better than the one we were given. I asked the lady why did't offer us the room when we asked her? She couldn't say anything. Anyways i don't understand her reason as well

Beds were comfortable enough. Apartment was very dated. Nothing like the photos on the website. We were offered an apartment which wasn't even at the address we booked. Front door rattled and wobbled even when locked. Bath coating was peeling, bathroom tap had broken and been replaced with a bolt, toilet roll holder was hanging on by a thread

Filthy. False advertising. Nothing like photos. Should be inspected before being able to advertise.

Pick up of the room key isn't where you stay, It was hard to find. Crappy parking. Absolutely disgusting dirty top to bottom in Th room. I would like my money back.

Close to transport and not far from the tennis centre but was not like in the photos. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

it was a good cheep clean accomidation in the right location with parking. I would stay there again.

Didn’t like anything. Location might be ok but we abandoned the booking and chose to stay elsewhere There was no laundry which is why we booked when travelling as a family and the property and Wotif would not refund booking. Will be taking further to seek refund

This is the worst place I have every stayed. We only stayed an hour and got out, it was that bad. I got other accommodation and this was so dirty and unhealthy we could of got really sick. And don't forget the bugs that started crawling all over us. When we entered the air conditioner leaked and half of the lounge room floor was wet. The kitchen stunk and had something sprayed all over the floor. The bathroom has purple stains all over the floor and the toilet had excrement on it and over it, there was toothpaste splatter all over the taps and up the walls. The place was disgusting.

Fantasic location and what you expect for the price. The rooms were not clean. There was urine on the toilet wall.

Refuse to check me in even though I was there for the family violence and I need a safe place to be and then they promise to refund my money straight away I had to wait two days later when I got hotels.com to request the refund for me
