Thoughtful, well-curated, and genuinely very good. One non-negotiable recommendation: leave the beach—briefly. Book an excursion, and snorkel or dive. We loved our stay at Sorobon Beach Resort! Our room lost power a few days in and the staff quickly moved us to a bigger beach bungalow for the remainder of our stay that was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are lovely, the comfy beach cabanas are all free for guests, and the friendly staff come around regularly to see if youd like any drinks or snacks while youre relaxing on the beach. It was pure heaven. We also loved the restaurant on site where we had free breakfast as part of our accommodations and where we could easily grab lunch or dinner if we didn’t feel like venturing out. The property is on Lac Bay, a protected lagoon, so you can walk super far out into the turquoise waters and watch all the wind surfers. We also got some great snorkeling in further out in the bay. I would recommend renting a car so you can explore the whole island and don’t miss the Salt Pier for the opportunity to see turtles while snorkeling! And definitely stay at Sorobon. The staff and the whole property is fantastic. It was dreamy!

Super mooie lokatie aan surfstrand. Huisje ook echt op het strand. Gemoderniseerde huisjes. Prima ontbijt

Sommig personeel weinig professioneel: er was een 12h durende stroomstoring in ons huisje (niet op de rest van het terrein). Trage actie, geen enkel excuus. Avondeten matig en sommige obers vergeten steeds wat er gevraagd/besteld is

De sfeer van het resort is helemaal waar je op hoopt, relaxed, comfortabel en kleinschalig. De ligging aan het prachtige en rustige Lac Bay is paradijselijk!

Schoon, vriendelijk personeel die je zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam benaderen.
