Villa Marbella Suites

My husband and I stayed in the Mango room for 5 nights. Yes it's a small room. But we were out exploring most of the day anyway. It is fully functional and very affordable for on the go people. Futon that pulls out into a full bed, flatscreen tv with cable, a small fridge, coffee maker, a toaster, some dishes and utensils, a closet, and a bathroom with a shower. Also it has AC and free wifi. It is clean, quiet, and updated. They even have the room stocked with beach towels and a cooler to use. They have beach chairs and snorkel gear for guests to use. The pool is just up a flight of stairs. We rented a 2 door Jeep from Leah while here and it was well worth it. The owners are friendly, hospitable and just all around nice people. The villa is tucked in the hillside of a quiet residential area, which gets you away from the bustle of town. Short drive into town when you want to explore. Beautiful views from the pool deck. Would definitely recommend.

We had the best service and accomodations at Villa Marbella. They picked us up at the airport and everything was great from the beginning of our wonderful trip to the end. The staff was very polite and courteous-always asking if we needed anything, and if they were going into town, asked if we needed anything to be picked up. The place has a wonderful view, and the place we stayed in had exactly what we needed-a small kitchen area, a loft and lots of sunshine and great weather! What more can you ask for? They were very helpful with local information about places to see, eat, pick up things, etc. Awesome place!!

We rented a vehicle from Leah and stayed in the Cruzan view suite. They greeted us immediately at the airport and took us to the suite while showing us around and telling us about places we may want to go! They helped us on several occasions with directions and suggestions on food! They also had snorkeling equipment we used at coki beach which was excellent, free of charge. They were extremely accommodating! The pool was a good change from the beach on our last day. The views are beautiful! The location was very convient to downtown area and red hook. They also had beach chairs, beach bag and a cooler in our room for us to use which was very helpful! The walk to the beach was a little interesting. It was a very nice beach but a bit of a hike going back to the room! Overall great place to stay and great price as well!

the staff are very nice and always helpful, will answer any question or do whatever they can to please you. Location is a bit of a drive to any restaurant and a small hike to a beach, but very nice place to stay. view is very beautiful. parking isn't the best, but not much traffic around there so it works out pretty well anyway.

A beautiful view of the water greeted us every morning. The room was clean, inviting, and comfortable. We were located close to Havensight and Coki Bay. Nothing was very far. There was also a beach and bar within walking distance. The staff was wonderful, and very accommodating. They also offer car rentals to make the stat easier.

Very nice quiet hotel away from all the hustle and bustle of other tourists but close to everything you want to see

The hosts were great and provided all of the little things that made our stay wonderful. From the beach chairs, to the towels, cooler with ice blocks and replenishing the snacks for our daily trips to the beach the support was great. The hosts were alway asking if there is anything they could do. I would highly recommend this place for anyone taking a vacation.

Th Marbella suites are very well kept. It has a beautiful view and is about a 5-10 minute walk to a beach downhill, which means the walk back is all uphill. The beach is at a time share community and has a bar/restaurant. The Marbella is a bit remote. Although I had written instructions on getting there, twice the taxi drivers were uncertain where it was. Once you have been to the Marbella. it becomes easier to tell the taxi drivers where it is - namely them the Blackbeard Beach Club (the above mentioned time share community). However, the owners, Leah and Gunnar did drive me if they were headed to the same place. Leah had recommended that I rent a car, which they help you with. This is the better solution to using taxis if you are willing to drive in St. Thomas. The Mango room is fine for one person. I would not recommend it for two people. Although I did not see the inside of the other rooms, they seemed much more spacious from the outside. The pool is small, but a great place to relax in the evening before it gets dark.

If you're looking for a non-resort, intimate experience in the Caribbean – Villa Marbella will surpass all your expectations.The owners make you feel like you are friends visiting them, making you feel very at home and relaxed.we will be staying here for years to come in the winter!
