30A Inn & Suites

Last minute trip and this was the perfect location. Very close to the beach but not crazy expensive. We loved staying in a studio apartment style room so that we could make our own breakfast and snacks. Would definitely stay again.

For a hotel room/suite, this is excellent. We stayed in the Signature King Suite and although the photos didn’t match the room, it was not misrepresented in any way in terms of character. It was nicely decorated and though simple still had some unique decor and great amenities. The full kitchen was well stocked. There was also a washer/dryer. We were short on drinking glasses but ran into the very nice housekeeping lady and she fetched us a few more glasses right away. It was limited on towels and linens for the queen sofa bed (not a pull out couch - see pics - but slept 2 teen boys just fine). So we took the advice of previous travelers and brought our own beach and bath towels, as well as our own pillows and extra blankets. Location is not next to the beach but we planned from the get go to rent bikes. We rode 5 mins via bike, packed light and were at a nice and quiet beach access with no access issues due to the fact that the Beach Highlands access is the last access on 30A before Topsail’s beaches start. Quiet beach and BEAUTIFUL. Far enough away from the traffic of the busier parts of 30A but close enough for our boys to ride there and back a couple times and us to venture out for dinner. I reached out to the management company beforehand with concerns about previous reviews and was assured all would be well - AND IT WAS. They even checked on me a couple times. I also appreciated the Affirm payment option via Expedia. I’m happy with our choice to book this suite.

Check yourself in online, no hassle waiting on the front desk to get you key cards and the rooms were newly renovated.

Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend I had a terrible experience at 30A Inn & Suites. They don’t deserve a 1 star rating. The door handle was broken, the AC was leaking and spewing ice, and there was water all over the bedroom floor. The unit had a strong moldy smell, and I couldn’t even sleep in the bedroom because of the conditions. I contacted management while I was there, but no one ever came to fix the issues or followed up with me. After my stay, I reached out again and was met with a very dismissive response. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had while visiting Santa Rosa Beach. I do not recommend this property.

It was decent… there is no front desk so you are at the mercy of if someone will answer their phone. Our door wouldn’t lock, and I asked for another pillow was told someone would get back with me no one did. I called 4 times because our door wouldnt lock and we needed to leave no one called till 2 hours later. Probably won’t be staying again. Good if you only have few options.

Nasty, Smelled, & did not have enough pillows for 3 guests…

Property was very nice and clean.

Broken chairs at pool, weird broken things in hall and stairwell, but room was perfect and pool itself was clean

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our toddlers. Everything was very clean and comfortable — we truly felt like we were at home. It was a perfect place for a family, and we felt so at ease throughout our stay. We will definitely choose this hotel again in the future!
