Barry Hall Apartments

Perfect location, loads of space, place to braai outside, fully equipped kitchen. Off road, safe parking. So close to shops, restaurants and beach. We walked everywhere.

There was nothing not to like, the staff were lovely, the place was easy to find.

Perfect apartment. A great stay and lots of room for a family of 4 in the 2 bed apartment. Very safe and near some great restaurants.

Due to the building being 1 of 4 apartments, it could be a little noisy when other guests moving around. Very big heavy doors, a little echoey.

Was an elegant self catering appartment in a very trendy location, with cool bars, cafes and restaurants.

Close to sea and promenade. Good choice of restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful gardens/courtyard. Bathroom was a little small. Some construction noise in area at night

just a feedback on apartment 2, for 4 people: I find a little shame to make 1 person sleep on the sofa that does not open bed, and 1 person on the small bed in the entrance. But otherwise everything was fine.

We have been to Cape Town 3 times and the best part is always staying at Barry Hall apartments. Rita is so welcoming and happy to make your stay like being at home. The staff, led by Felicity keep your room clean, beds made and dishes washed all ready for you to relax after a day out sightseeing. For a small fee they even do your laundry. The location in Sea Point is 2 minutes walk to Regent street with plenty of restaurants, shops and grocery stores. it is less than a ten minute drive to the Victoria and Albert waterfront and downtown Cape Town. Table Mountain and Lions Head are on the hills behind Sea Point. Follow Regent street out of town and you are soon in Camps Bay followed by the scenic Chapmans Peak drive and into Houts Bay, Walking down Regent Street also gives you great views of Lions Head. Out of the bedroom window we can see Table Mountain. Take a walk on the 7km beach front walk and watch the paragliders jump off Lions head, float down and land on the beachfront in Sea Point. Our next trip to Cape Town in 2026 will include another stay at Barry Hall. One of the most enjoyable places to stay as we travel the world.
