Best Western Alexandria Inn

The property has been renovated and the rooms look nice. Whoever the contractor is should come back and fix the closet door. It doesn't close. Also the door to enter sticks a great deal and needs to have a little taken off to open and close easier.Neither was an issue. It would improve the esthetics.

We have stayed in many Best Westerns; this one was disappointing. I should have known right away because the entry door was full of fingerprints and so was the glass table in the lobby. Otherwise, the lobby area was very nicely redone. The room itself was pretty disappointing. Please don't trust the images on the website. The plus side was the room was pretty clean, and I am picky about that. The mattress had the plastic covering over it which I appreciate. The room was very outdated, the carpet was at least 30 years old, and the furniture was very scratched up and worn. the fridge was freezing with no way to lower the temperature so everything we put in it froze. The curtains were falling off the wall on one side like the bracket was coming out. The breakfast was excellent. That kind of made up for the disappointment of the room. also, the hallway and stairs were full of crumbs even after I heard housekeeping vacuuming. We would not stay here again.

Mold in shower. Bed was too soft and not very comfortable.

For the price this entire property needs a remodel, shower doors leak do not stay shut, hallway rug not real clean, bed was comfortable. For the one night price we felt it needs to be upgraded...
