Hotel Urashima

Cave Onsen was very unique and 33rd floor private onsen & restaurant were great conveniences. Food was OK. Very glad to have special amenities on the 33rd floor where we were staying.

The hotel seemed a bit run down, and the smells and exterior mold may indicate potential moisture issues. We had a corner room with amazing views, the pillows were old and uncomfortable and there were not enough; the sheets, etc. seemed worn. As we were wrapping up our packing, before the checkout time, the cleaning staff knocked loudly at our door and yelled at us that she needed to come in soon. She seemed harsh and unnecessarily belligerent, since it was not past check out time. The van to the property may as well connect with the bus stop rather than the dock, since the ferry was not operating, and it turned around through its parking lot anyways. I would recommend the van also connecting with the train station, since the town is fairly remote in June. My kids mentioned the hotel was giving villain lair vibes, and I agree, especially the long corridor with red mats leading to the upper hotel elevators and the amazingly long escalator. Movies can be filmed here, imagining thriller and horror ones.

Les onsen sont incroyables, spécialement les caves. Les repas style buffet sont très complets et très bons. Le spectacle de coupe du thon est magnifique! La chambre est confortable, et on avait une magnifique vue sur le port.

Malheureusement une bonne partie de l'hôtel était en travaux. Il y avait des onsen fermés, et quelques parts du complexe était vides, avec une sensation de espace liminale. Le jardin supérieur est beau pour les vues, mais il est un peu abandonné et délabré.

Der Ausblick und der Onsen sind wirklich toll.

Der Altbau ist etwas herunter gekommen, auch hat es in unserem Bad sehr gestunken. Essen würde ich eher im Dorf, da die Restaurants im Hotel entweder ausgebucht oder teuer sind.

房間霉味很重，整個設施非常的舊

Grande chambre, petit déjeuner et dîner avec du choix. La boisson comprise dans le dîner est un vrai plus !

L’hôtel était en rénovation, ce qui ne nous a pas permis de profiter de tous les onsen. J’aurais aimé en être clairement averti avant ma réservation. Il manque d’amenities dans les onsen. Le couloirs conduisant au onsen de la grotte était très froid. Par contre, les rénovations s’avèrent en effet nécessaire. Ce serait sympa de revenir une fois qu’elles auront été effectuées. Dommage également que pour le buffet du dîner et du petit déjeuner, nous ayons des plateaux comme à la cantine. Cela mériterait mieux.
