La Quinta by Wyndham Hinesville - Fort Stewart

The variety of choices were great.

The station needed maintaining and cleaning. They were neglected. Sticky and messy.

Extremely disappointing experience. I am posting this review on behalf of my sister-in-law, Nilda Díaz, who stayed in room number 210, at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Hinesville, GA from Dec 22-25, 2025, while visiting us for the holidays. As a long-time Hinesville resident and a retired U.S. Army veteran, I personally witnessed these conditions. The room was in unacceptable condition. The bathroom floor was visibly dirty, and there was human mucus on the floor, clearly indicating that the room had not been properly cleaned or sanitized prior to our arrival. Additional issues included dirty bed sheets, a cracked toilet, an exposed smoke detector with internal components visible, a broken bathroom light switch with cracks and burn marks, a malfunctioning door that was difficult to open, stained curtains, damaged walls, broken furniture handles, no toilet paper, insufficient towels, and a TV that never worked. All issues were reported multiple times, yet management ignored our complaints and refused to change the room. Even breakfast was neglected. On December 25 at 8:00 a.m., most items were already gone--no yogurt, milk, or cereal. Food was not being restocked, the eggs were cold, and only a few cold mini-waffles remained. This reflected the overall lack of care at this property. Photos and video documenting these conditions will be posted. I will be contacting the appropriate authorities at Fort Stewart so they are aware of these conditions. Many soldiers and their families pass through Hinesville and depend on local hotels. This property is not in suitable condition to host those who serve our nation and their loved ones.

Exceptional staff very nice.

I kept getting locked out of my room sometimes the card key would work and sometimes it wouldn't work.

Arrived for business trip early. Approached the front desk to get checked in, I understand that I was early for check in, but front desk reception refused to check me in before 3p because someone told her not to and to wait until the end of her shift. This is very disheartening traveling early, given the only reason is to wait for someone else because they didn’t know how to check someone in. I asked for an iron and was told they couldn’t get into any other room to get one, and they couldn’t only change my room. Which if you can change my room, a key can be made to go into another room to get an iron. The only reason I have two stars is because the staff was pleasant. I am not frequent to Wyndham properties but I can say I will not be returning. Terrible property, no upkeep whatsoever.

Location was good Had to always ask for more towels most hotel provide more

Clean the rooms better. There was dust on everything. The smell was old and moldy. This location needs a major update.

Breakfast was good

The room on the three floor with a dog; AC sucks. I made my booking with 4 people an 1 dog $25.00 fee let the gentlemen at check in, there were only 2 adults he proceeded to tell me I needed to contact the booking agency I booked through to change this. An on the website it states, I need to let the property know. I ask for a king room if possible; he said he couldn't do that; they are kinda full. The room had 2 wash clothes and 2 towels for a room for four adults. Food was on the floor with strawpapers. I HAD TO PICK UP SO MY DOG WOULD NOT WANT TO EAT IT. When taken the dog out noone picks their dogs poop 💩 up.... Next morning to check out and noone at the front desk.
