Our room with its huge windows overlooking the bowling green was lovely, recently refurbished and very smart. It really is worth ensuring you have a room upstairs if possible. But the best thing of all about the Tontine are the staff - warm, friendly, kind and efficient. Valerie and Courtney are exactly the sort of front of house staff that make you want to leave a review that says ‘thank you!’

"Hotel was average overall and some of the staff were not very friendly."

Central location and parking available.

Not enough electrical sockets had to remove lamp plug to use kettle. No usb/usbc points to charge phone. Room doors very heavy and hard to keep open to get your luggage in as they are fitted with self closers.
