Ash Grove Boutique Motel

At the end of our 2 week trip. It was nice being away from city center, but not too far. Check in was quick and the room was nice and comfortable. Appreciated the fresh fruit from the owners and we got cheese and crackers from the grocery and ate in--a bit tired of restaurant food. Nice chat with the owner too. We don't watch TV so didn't take advantage of that.

Modern and very clean room, friendly host, definitely would stay here again.

Grange was most helpful with everything including allowing us freezer space and providing an electric blanket. Top notch place to stay!

I booked two standard studio apartments for myself and friends and I loved the place. The rooms, garden area and swimming pool - everything was just so clean and beautiful. Carol & Stuart - they were so amazing and friendly. Stayed there for a night and loved our stay. Thumbs up for this place.

Could not get accommodation in Paihia but were lucky to find this spot with a quick internet search. It is a quiet out of the way motel/apartments. Facilities were very good and the place clean and well run. There is a loverly swimming pool which fortuitously was right outside our apartment. We had a lovely relaxing afternoon by the pool and sitting on the veranda in the evening. Great place for a comfortable, relaxing stopover while traveling.

Very good spot, a little out of Paihia, good or bad depending on your preferences, but we like it.

We stayed 4 nights in Unit 8, a fully self contained separate building, where the bed, chairs, kitchen facilities, shower/toilet and space and were all of an excellent standard and just what we needed. The owner-couple are very welcoming and especially helpful with local information. A road in a cutting close by is quiet in 'sleeping hours' and never concerned us otherwise. Excellent value for money, also.
