Ash Grove Boutique Motel

Beautiful pool and accommodations. It was like having an apartment. Everything needed was provided. Close to town. highly recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights but wished we could have made it longer. Super clean rooms, everything you need, beautiful gardens and a spectacular pool and BBQ area. Nice to eat dinner on our private patio overlooking the pool. Very peaceful and felt “untouristy” compared to Paihia so a great place to chill after sightseeing for the day. Hosts Grange and Bronwyn are full of good tips and very welcoming.

We stayed at Ash Grove at the end of a month touring around New Zealand for a few days relaxing prior to the long haul back to the UK. It was a great choice in many ways. Firstly the accommodation is great, everything you need, plenty of space and beautifully clean. The location is nice as it is a little out of town and really peaceful. Our hosts, Bronwyn and Grange, could not have been nicer or more helpful. Even the dog, Dexter, is worth a mention as he was fun to be around. Grange even drove us into town so that we could enjoy our last evening in NZ. I have no hesitation in recommending Ash Grove as a place to stay and we will return one day.

All good except too close to a busy road and as a result very noisy - thankfully it quietened down between midnight and 7am

We enjoyed the unit, pool and bbq. We were out of town but the drive to the dock for ferry and excursion was 5 minutes or so. Waitangi was even closer. The host provided excellent information. Good parking at the motel and in Paihia itself.

Beautifully appointed Motel with a super secluded pool. Large airy room with benefit of a 2 ring hob which is so useful but rarely gets mentioned! Grange and Bronwyn were so helpful and arranged our visits to the Treaty Grounds and a day on the schooner R Tucker Thompson both of which were excellent too. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. Charlie & Jeanine

Great motel out of the town, so away from the hustle and bustle. But in 2 mins drive. great facilities in the room, large comfy bed, and fabulous quiet pool. The owners could not do enough for you. BBQ area, and fabulous pub 5 mins walk with live music, plus fish and chips across the road.
