Calypso Villas Zakynthos

A true home from home, everything was just right and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it. Thank you to the whole team, they were all brilliant.

This property was wonderful! The staff were very friendly and accommodating; very hospitable. I love that it is private, right on the beach, and everyone is minding their own business enjoying themselves. Calypso was the perfect place to celebrate our 10th anniversary.

A wonderful stay in the Executive Beachfront Suite with private pool. Amazing sea view with palms. The pool was also a jacuzzi. Spacious wet room shower area. Big comfy bed. Nespresso machine and kettle. The accommodation has loungers and cabanas mostly on the lawn by the sea to enjoy. There's an app that unlocks the door (or use a code, keyless!), also use the app to order breakfast, room service 11am to 5pm and food/drink delivery to your sun lounger! The sea front location is amazing as the sea is so clear. The sun rises over the sea. There's a paddleboard you can use. No beach but very swallow sea with sand underfoot. A small swim to rocky areas with sea grass that is teaming with fish, so bring a snorkel and mask. A short stroll to restaurants. This is a quite part of the island for relaxing. Not lots of nightlife. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

This property is a hidden gem!! The facilities are spectacular, and the owners and staff are wonderful! The beach area is so peaceful and shallow, it’s like a salt water pool. The temperature was great for swimming in early June, and the paddle board and kayak were an added bonus. If you go, definitely include breakfast - it’s amazing and delivered right to your room!!

Beautifully appointed, the villa had an amazing view and it is in front of the beach. There are restaurants at walking distance. Everyone was friendly and caring about your stay.

Everything was perfect from our arrival through our departure. The owners catered to every need before we had to ask. The villa was very thoughtfully decorated and you can tell they paid attention to every detail. The villas have a balcony overlooking one of the best beaches on Zakynthos with fine sand and shallow, warm, crystal clear water. I only wish we could have stayed longer but of course a place like this with such high standards and only 6 villas was booked up.

Our family of five (two grown-up boys, one 12-year old girl) spent 6 nights at the Calypso Villas in July 2021. For us, it was a perfect holiday. The accommodation was spacious enough to house all of us in one two-bedroom unit, everyone had ready access to the water for swimming and snorkelling, the beach area was not crowded, and we were very well looked after by Calypso Villas staff. Breakfasts were outstanding. Nikos organized a fantastic private boat trip from the jetty just in front of the villas to the Shipwreck Beach, Blue Caves and other sights along the eastern coast of Zakynthos. In addition, we drove all around the island including the southern area where the turtles nest. There are a couple of nice tavernas within easy walking distance of the villas, and the Alikanas/Alykes area is a 5 min drive with more dining/shopping options. We particularly enjoyed the fresh fish at the Amoudi taverna and atmosphere at the Epsilon. A car is helpful in this area to get around and see more of the island. The family is still talking about the wonderful holiday we had on Zakynthos.

We had a fabulous visit! The property is very charming and well equipped. The water is just as magnificent as the photos. We enjoyed looking out on the water from our balcony and the swimming was wonderful.
