Days Inn by Wyndham Tewkesbury Strensham

Very pleasant experience, great check in by Max, very informative and happy to assist. Room was very spacious, with lots of desk and sitting space. Great that there were coffee and tea facilities in the room. It is of course, next to the motorway, but remarkable quiet although there was some noise through from it.

Friendly welcome and nice stay, only downside was the radiator not working in the room which made it a bit chilly - appreciated the portable heater in the room but could have done with a couple to get the temperature up, would definitely stay again.

Cannot speak for other rooms No hot water and TV no Sound We only stayed for 1 night I know going down to the Reception getting a sympathy response does not help so we just put up with the stay

It was good value for money.

Dog fur in room. Smells of dogs. Bathroom needs a good clean. Checked out after a few hours as couldn't tolerate it anymore.

Check in was awful. The receptionist was full of self-importance. Never before have i had to scan my card in case i trash the place. Room had been booked and paid for in advance. I was asked to swipe my card. I asked why and was met with "it's company policy". I asked what it was for, as I had aleady paid in full. All the receptionist would say is its company poilcy. Pointed at a poster. I asked again, saying what it was needed for, to get the same company policy reply. She then started highlighting a section on the paperwork and almost threw it back at me. It stated the card swipe was incase they needed to deep clean my room or if trashed it. I asked why she couldnt just tell me this, as I would have understood, but she was rude in her reply. I took photos of a damaged door, in case they try to charge me! The room itself was a supposedly accessible room. The beds were far too high. Anyone in a wheelchair wiuld be unable to transfer. The beds were on wheels, which meant the bed moved away when I tryed to get on it. This was very unsafe. Only thing accessible was it was close to ths front door. Oh, and none of the doors are automatic, so manoeuvring with a small luggage bag and a walking stick was difficult - and that was just getting in the building, let alone the corridor to my room.

Very comfortable Bed and room. My 3rd stay here and is very good value for money

My Land Rover clutch went and luckily it was at this service station. As the hotel staff were so helpful in a stressful situation. I had my two large dogs with me, which they said was no problem. It was a very comfortable last minute stay. I will always choose this chain where possible as they’re so welcoming to dogs, which I usually have in tow.

Nice helpful staff. Clean basic room and good nearby eating and shopping facilities. Reasonable room rates.
