Mountain Retreat Resort, a VRI resort

What a beautiful place, the staff are very friendly and kind. Check in was a breeze, and the three days we stayed were wonderful. Can't wait to book our next trip.

I’d have to think really hard to find something to complain about. Our stay was incredible.

We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Retreat. It is like staying in a cabin in the mountains but without the extra expense of booking and cleaning fees. Also, It is close the Murphys, which has lots of dining options and skiing at Bear Valley.

Nice property. Clean, comfortable & quiet. Clubhouse has a pool, hot tub, & sauna. There's also a small game room & movie room. We went for a couples get away, but will definitely be back with family. The property is close to big trees, national park, Murphy's, Columbia, Jamestown, lots to do in the area. The bar and Grill at the golf course it's nice for a casual meal.

First I want to say that the property itself is beautiful and for the most part staff were helpful and friendly. In fact we hope to visit the property again. My middle of the road marks are because many of the amenities were not available - hot tub, sauna and gym. The gym being closed is mentioned on the website, however there was no mention of the other two. It was also not mentioned at check in. I saw a posted sign on the pool door about the hot tub. Which prompted me to ask about the sauna because it was a cold weekend and something we intended to utilize. The post is also a bit misleading showing photos of “trails” that don’t exist on property. It’s fine if you have to go to them, but there is no indication of that. I would suggest revising the post to take out photos of trails or better label them. But as I mentioned, regardless, it’s a beautiful little spot and one we hope to go back to when the amenities are all running!
