Hotel Gut Ising

Wonderful: luxury in beautiful surroundings where dogs are welcome, the spa was very good. We entered our room to find a small bottle of champagne and a treat for our dog as well as a blanket for him and the bed was also decorated with the 2 swan towels and rose petals

There was a rather rude gentleman working in the restaurant (and also during breakfast). In a restaurant where the prices are exceptional, I also expect exceptional or at least friendly service. He also treated (his?) staff in an impatient/angry manner on several occasions. After having reserved a table at Derby's (another restaurant on the property) and being told there is no need to make a reservation as it is very quiet, we didn't book the evening after and were told off by him shouting over several tables that "this is not how it works here - you have to book and ask if you can be seated". We were too baffled but actually should have left, as it did spoil the dinner experience. Maybe he was tired from working too many shifts, but this was really not OK. He also never greeted us while being extra friendly to other guests.

Sehr gute Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. 3 Restaurants mit guter Speisekarte. Was nicht dazu passte, war die karge Ausstattung des Einzelzimmers. Einzige Sitzgelegenheit war ein sehr unbequemer Holzstuhl. Da habe ich schon, wesentlich preiswerter, eine bessere Ausstattung erlebt. Das Zimmer wirkte düster ohne besondere Aussicht. Es wird wohl nur als Einzelzimmer vermietet, also Paare haben gute Chancen bessere Zimmer zu bekommen. WLAN hat weder beim Handy noch beim Pad funktioniert - wahrscheinlich war das Nebengebäude zu weit vom Hotspot entfernt.
