Hotel Gut Ising

Beautiful spa and delicious food at the restaurant. We enjoyed the access to the swimming pools, sauna, and walking around the gardens and stables with the horses. The room was nicely prepared for our kid, it's a lovely place to come with family.

We had to wait almost an hour for the room to be ready, but the staff was nice and they gave us a voucher for the bar while we waited. The relax area for the sauna is very small, but there's easy access to the pool area. The lake is not very easy to access.

Wir hatten für 3 Nächte gebucht. Check in war freundlich, nicht unbedingt kommunikativ. Zimmer ok. Aber trotz Balkon kein Blick auf Natur. Sondern auf das Dach der Wellness Anlage. Parkplätze reichlich vorhanden. Frühstück für Hotel dieser Klassifizierung ok, nicht ungewöhnlich.

The locationw

The room furniture was old and stained. The towels were worn out. There was little privacy between the room and people passing but outside.

Very relaxed. Staff friendly. Pool is lovely. Bar and cocktails superb. Bar managers recommendations were spot on. Had a very understated but really grand feel.

While the food and service in the main hotel restaurant was excellent the Derby Grill seemed pretty poor in comparison. From a service and food quality. Suspect it is outsourced. Also with the main restaurant there wasn't an option to eat indoors. A minor point as the weather was superb. But it got too hot and the mosquitoes were out in force. Would have been nice to have the option to eat in the gorgeous, cool dining room.
