Lexington Inn & Suites NW Chicago Elgin

Not sure if it's undergoing changes, but the property has a lot of issues: no working vending or ice machines, pool has been closed because it's unsafe, shortage of soap or toiletries at the front desk, littered parking lot. The staff helped to the best of their ability but hopefully, these issues get fixed soon.

Dirty, they don’t like cleaning much. Old school. No pool no vending machines no breakfast

Bed stains carpet looked like it hasn’t been vacuumed if I wasn’t tired I would have left that instant other wise was quiet only slept like 5 hours and I was gone.

There was no soap for the hands or shampoo, body wash.

Lots of strange people but they’re everywhere !

The property is creepy. The hallways have multiple odors and you can’t get in one of the side doors w a key card. Further more my room shower didn’t work at all and honestly even if it did I didn’t want to use the shower because it was disgusting. I tried to tell the front desk but when the lady came to my room she told me there was nothing she could do about it and didn’t get me a new room or reimburse me any money from my stay. Nor did they offer at least a free night at another location! I would not recommend to anyone ever! Please never stay here I’d trust red roof before this place

This property is absolutely disgusting. There was pubic hair all over the shower, dirty yellow half folder towels, no AC, the pool was condemned, stains on the couch and bedding, there was marijuana smoke in the building, the front desk refused to refund our stay even after we showed them the issues. I was still charged. We did not even stay,we left and went to a different hotel. We had 5 children with and we were not staying there. There was also some tweaker guy who kept knocking on the hotel door when my husband and I were down in the lobby trying to deal with the issues. My children were terrified and sobbing. Absolutely DO NOT STAY THERE.

Not impressed at all for price. Not one little soap just in case you forgot yours. Towels were see thru thin. Needed all to dry. Felt safe. Area is good. Bring your own utilities.

10:30 at night, party going on near to my room. Someone pounded on my door. I will never stay here again. What a Expedia experience!!
