Le Miramonti Hotel Restaurant & Wellness

We stayed at the Miramonti for a sk ing holiday. The hotel was excellent the service and staff exceptional. The hotel was warm and quiet and our room looked over the river towards the moutain. Lovely breakfasts, very friendly and helpful staff. The mini bus service to slopes was very welcome but we could have walked!. Pool and spa very welcome too. We would highly recommend staying at the Miramonti.

The property is OK. But EXPEDIA is NOT OK. I asked for an invoice at the time of the reservation. The hotel called me to say that I neded to get the invoice from Expedia. I only could get a receipt and not an invoice. This is the last time that I will reserve tghrough Expedia when you are not able to provide me an invoice in IItaly for my Italian Company. I have now lost the VAT which I could normally subtract. This is the only way to communicate with Expedia.

I did not book spa and dinners in advance. The food looked good but the restaurant was fully booked.

Le Miramonti was our house for 6 nights and we had the best time ever. It was our first time in La Thuile and our holiday was for taking skiing classes and celebrating new years. Le Miramonti was absolutely perfect for skiing because it has everything planned, first the breakfast is included and it is a very complete and delicious buffet, the coffee is the best and all the food is freshly made there, and then there is a shuttle service every 15 minutes that takes you directly to the slopes (also a storage in the parking lot for ski stuff) and they also pick you up at the slopes whenever you call so it was completely stress free! We chose half-board so the dinners were all included and it was simply marvellous having the most delicious italian food every night paired with great italian wines in the restaurant which is nicely decorated, the food by the chef Andrea is truly exceptional. Last but not least, we loved that Le Miramonti is pet friendly so Hugo our dog could accompany us to the holiday!

The room size is a bit tight. Also the wellness area is ok but could be much better we thought the water in the pool was quite cold and there is not hot tub to relax the muscles. There is a sauna and turkish bath but also very small so it was almost always occupied. There is only 1 small room for massages and it is not very relaxing. One thing that was dissapointing was the new years dinner menu, we ate at the hotel 6 nights and it was always delicious but for new years it was not very good and mostly sea food and I asked if there was an alternative menu even a kids menu because I don't eat much sea food and there was no other option available and they charged 60 euros more for a dinner I unfortunately did not enjoy.
