Hotel Rural Cuatro Esquinas

Fantastic 3 nights, excellent situation in center of small town of St Miguel. On site restaurant has extensive menu and food was first class. Lovely rural hotel for a quiet and peaceful few days with very helpful and friendly staff. Can.t fault it

Impossible not to like this hotel. A beautiful place in an interesting Canarian town. The rooms are good for the price and the beds comfortable but the pretty courtyard is perhaps its best feature. Beware the 'breakfast included' option on hotels.com. It wasn't.

Cuatro Esquinas was the best thing about the time in Tenerife apart from the enjoyable - at least for me - experience of driving up and down via amazing hairpin bends. Room and restaurant and bar and terraced areas all excellent and with smiling -if leisurely- service. One might also point out that the shower was more effective in promise than execution, but adequate.

very enjoyable stay. pleasant, helpful staff. large guestrooms and lots of outside sitting areas. excellent breakfast.

Excellent stay, very friendly hosts, even gave me a lift to the airport when taxi failed to arrive.

I booked this hotel through Expedia and the confirmation stated that I would be charged in euros by the hotel however when I checked my credit card they deducted the amount in GB Pounds this means that I got a poor exchange rate. I think that expedia should ensure that what they state on their booking confirmation is adhered to. Nearly every restaurant and places that I stayed in tried the same trick however I insisted that all transactions were carried out in euros.

A very nice hotel although slightly cluttered with ornaments for my taste. Good points were friendly staff and nice courtyard area to enjoy a drink. Downsides were that our room was right next to the main road meaning early traffic noise was disturbing (rooms in other parts of the hotel would probably be ok). Wifi is currently only available in the communal areas and was a bit patchy on reception - would be great to have it in the rooms too. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast and massive room. Beds are amazing. I really recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing hotel. Good location, 15 minutes from airport, beach and mountain for hiking. The food at the hotel is really nice and there are other restaurants and bars very close to it and food is really good as well.

Hotel was beautiful, so quaint and nothing was too much trouble we had a late flight but was offered a drink at the bar on arrival. Photos really do not do this hotel justice, we will be returning

Lovely place to unwind from an exciting trip around the island in Tenerife. Hotel rural 4Esquinas was inviting cozy-reminded us of our grandmothers house; old pictures paintings, antiques and boal of sweets,fresh bread and croissants in the am...we enjoyed relaxing on the couch in the living room...and eating dinner at the hotel with their best wine of our choice on the island. I was content about it all, although I would not recommend eating their at lunch ..and having chicken stuffed with cranberry and nuts..disappointed with a few meals that did not meet the standard of the first dinner we had there. I would not recommend washing your clothes there. I asked if I could do a small wash of very little undergarments and was not warned of any costs. I barely used the drier and they charged me 8 euros without warning on my last dinner bill. I was extremely disappointed about it but I did not want to spoil my vacation so I got over it quickly. Advice..owners want your money..and are not as welcoming as you think about having you as a guest.
