This is a traditional small Spanish hotel which has been tastefully renovated to provide an excellent holiday getaway for people who want to enjoy the 'real' Tenerife. This is an excellent base for hikers, climbers, cyclists or just those who want the more natural side of Tenerife. The owners and small staff team are genuinely friendly and helpful in every way. The food and atmosphere in the restaurant are excellent and the breakfast varied for all tastes and appetites. The roof area could be enhanced with comfortable chairs and planting to create a brilliant addition to the excellent courtyard and terrace already available.

I spent ten nights here over Xmas 2013. Overall a pleasant stay. Road noise is a small issue if you are a light sleeper, as I am, but it does dwindle to nothing from 10pm-7pm so no big deal. Good breakfast. Single beds a bit narrow with so-so pillows..that's all I can say negative! A nice man runs it and if you seek somewhere well away from the tourist hubs but with easy access to everywhere on Tenerife then this place ticks most boxes.

Easily accessible Hotel in San Miguel about 10 miles North of the Airport. Lovely people, quiet comfortable room and good food. Parking on the street opposite. 20 minute drive to the resorts of Los Christianos and Playa Las Americas. If you wish to get away from the hussle-bussle of these resorts then this is a good choice. Cooked my breakfast as I like it ! 15 minute drive to Golf del Sur where I played golf. Met a few people here who were to hike in the mountains above. Good choice of Hotel for me.

Friendly and helpful staff, hotel has charm and character, excellent food, Augustin ( the owner) has good English, No dedicated parking but on street parking adjacent.

4 Esquinas is the perfect place if you like genuine people and genuine food. A far cry from the usual overfilled anglicized resorts of the South! The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming and la Senora's cooking is outstanding! San Miguel is only 20 mins from Tenerife South airport and a fairly good base for exploring the mountains. We stayed for 2 nights before heading to the north of the island.

Lovely hotel, beautifully restored building, rooms over a bar/restaurant so not for those who would like to sleep early.

Very nice intimate hotel with great personal service and very good food. San Miguel isn't ideally situated, but if you're renting a car it's a great and relaxed option to have as base.

We enjoyed our stay. Very nice people. It was New Years day and the hotel restaurant was busy but we were able to get a table and the food was excellent. Breakfast/Dining room service could be a bit more organized. A really nice quiet place to stay.

The owners are very proud of the restoration of the old building which was opened in November last year. The couple give friendly service and helpful advice about local amenities. The bed was very comfortable The bedroom was spacious with a very high traditional ceiling, and the bathroom has a state of the art shower. Tables are laid outside for eating as well as inside for warmth in the mornings. San Miguel is quite high up and cooler than coastal resorts. I live half an hour away near the coast and we enjoyed a birthday night in the hotel as a treat. We were not disappointed. The road is quite noisy in the day, but didn't disturb our sleep at night. The accommodation is very close to the small town. There is a museum El Capitan nearby showing Canarian history. A hotel to be explored.
