A bit run down

The room was comfortable and clean.

Hot water for the shower took ages to warm up, and the shower pressure was really low.

Our Host was very friendly, informative nothing too much trouble.

The property is looking a little tired. But didn’t distract from the excellent meals.

Lovely room, comfy bed, a bathtub, and with a view of Arran, what more do you need. Really nice, friendly owner who goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. Super breakfast with a good choice of continental and cooked. I'd definitely stay here again

Rhona the owner is a gem of a host- super welcoming and always helpful. The food at the hotel is exceptional- all homemade and brilliantly tasty. Could not have made our stay better. We will be back.

Grounds and external appearance

The traditional style and warm welcome are above and beyond. I felt very much at home here. Home cooked food, perfect location with lovely views of Arran and beautiful drives to some of the most stunning beaches I've been to. This is definitely one of the small, friendliest hotels I've stayed in. My room was clean and comfortable. Pillows are fab!! My dog was almost part of the furniture, and nothing was any bother to the owners. These ladies work non stop to maintain the Carradale and I highly recommend you support a small business. Thank you so much for one of the nicest weekends I've had. Will be back.
