The Carradale Hotel

The owners were so welcoming and friendly, they had great recommendations of things to do in the area. The bed was huge and comfortable and everything we ate at the hotel was great! Also the views and Carradale are incredible!

Rooms were fantastic… Rhona and her family couldn’t do enough for us..special people. The pies are amazing!

The room was lovely. Bright, tastefulky decorated with large bathroom. We had two windows overlooking garden which we'd specifically asked for. Sadly there wasnt anywhere for us to sit in the room other than the bed. The rest of the hotel felt somewhat jaded, as did Carradale town itself. Everything seemed closed and depressed. Staff were friendly and eager to please. Ordering meals in advance is understandable byt a bit annoying, but we were made clear about this prior to arriving. The external of hotel does not make it inviting. As we approached we wondered if in fact it had closed down! The golf course beside hotel is lovely and lots of great countryside and beaches. But nit a huge amount to do of an evening in Carradale!

Nothing. We had booked for four days but did not stay at all.

The staff were not friendly or helpful. We felt the whole place was run down and in desperate need oftlc.

The breakfast was very good. The owners could not be faulted but they appear to be fighting a losing battle. I wish them well in their venture.

The hotel is in dire need of refreshing in all areas internal and external.

Owners Rona & Kara were very friendly & down to earth , Breakfast & Evening meal were good , Bedroom was Lovely & bed very comfortable, All in all a good couple of nights stay
