Breakas Beach Resort

The beautiful scenery, lovely staff, bread pudding for breakfast, with locally sourced fresh fruit, fluffy pancakes. The flora and fauna, sea creatures visible on the beach, lovely mosquito nets for safety (not one bite). The beautiful staff lovely people. Thank you. Beautiful huts, beach, pool, dinner/ lunch was amazing, entertainment.

Lovely location, easy to find, beautiful scenery and gardens, yummy breakfast and dinner. Would love to come back.

Bar service was very slow, but when you’re on holidays and island time it doesn’t really matter.

- adults only - very peaceful and quiet - beachfront - lovely view and nice surroundings, could snorkel at the beach out the front at high tide - rustic charm - basic ‘off-grid’ vibe - not much internet, no TVs, expect a lot of sand and insects though! - restaurant was fine and convenient as there is not too much around without getting a bus or taxi

- felt expensive for the quality of the accomodation and service level but could be a downside of Vanuatu in general - not much to do in the resort - fine if you just want to relax on the beach

Room: comfortable bed, spacious room, clean room and nice outdoor shower. Staff: friendly, warm and welcome. Location: good snorkeling and easy to book activities (RaidenPalmer Tours & Adventures is great)

The wine list could be improved to better accompany the delicious food.

The resort offered a great island feel with the sand walkways and sitting right on the beach. It was clean and the staff were amazing. We find that in Port Vila resorts the food is mediocre and overpriced but breakas was one of the best meals we ate on our 2 week holiday. The price is a little high but it’s worth it compared to other restaurants. Recommend the blue cheese gnocchi to anyone ! The local cats are also a bonus and super friendly

The location made it hard and expensive to get around but it’s a perfect spot if you are just wanting to chill at the resort. The beach being covered in dead coral and short sea grass made it a bit uncomfortable for to go for a dip in the ocean but the pool is nice and clean with a good deep end. The lack of aircon in the rooms was a bit of an inconvenience and the geckos that get into the bungalow kept leaving droppings everywhere ( we didn’t mind but some people might) but understand you can’t control the wildlife hence giving a real island feel that I enjoyed… my partner not so much 🤣
