The Elmington Hotel

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich zauberhaft. Eine kleine Zeitreise. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer waren groß und die Aussicht herrlich. Das Frühstück war super und das Paar, das Elmington leitet ist unglaublich nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre toll gewesen.

Bathroom door lock was broken

Very well looked after property and gardens. Really lovely staff. Excellent breakfast and everywhere was spotlessly clean. All in all, a lovely place to stay. We are going back next year!

We liked the room, the bed was comfortable, and the dining areas and places to sit were spacious. Location was about a mile from the harbour but we liked the walk. Buses were frequent. Staff that we came across were friendly. We had a lovely stay.

Couple of issues, there seemed to be not many staff on, so the bar wasn’t manned, and no one to make enquiries too. We did a lot of walking, and it would have been nice to be able to get a drink when we got back from being out all day. We rang the bell numerous times on different days but no one came. Also if you’re hoping to get an uber we tried on two evenings around 8pm, could not get an uber at all, this is not the property’s fault, however it’s just worth noting if you are getting dressed up for the evening - you had to walk to the harbour and in into town and back after your night out. Milk wasn’t replaced after we used it, and we couldn’t ask anyone for anymore as no one was about. Breakfast was served 8-9, this was a little early for us as we were getting up at 9- again just preference for us, if it was 8-10 we would have gone for some.

What a beautiful friendly hotel, rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff couldn't be more helpful! The chap serving breakfast was an absolute hoot woth lots of good local knowledge, the stram train as he had recommended was fantastic day out!

Hotel is beautiful lovely views,outside warm swimming pool, patio,very clean throughout, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff especially Lisa the owner very nice and accomadating! My hotel stay was very enjoyable will definitely go back to the Elmington Hotel when I stay in Torquay Devon again🥰 very close to the train station, beach and shops for walking 5* in my book not 4* 😊

Basic but comfortable room. Bed firm. Room clean. Poor lighting, very small bathroom. Breakfast was ok but poor quality ingredients. Cheap sausages and supermarket bread. Good location however. Ok for a couple of nights as a base.
