Food was superb and location and beer garden was lovely. Staff were friendly.

Made to pay for room as soon as we arrived even though we were eating there too. Other guests were paying at the end. The room was tired and very dated. Expensive for the standard of the room.

Lovely old inn with great service, friendly staff and superb food. We loved the pub garden too! Will definitely return for a longer stay as only had one night there.

Maybe more vegetarian choice?

Lovely old country inn full of character on the edge of the moors. Excellent food and good service.

Nothing to dislike but the shower room was very small in our double room.

The room was comfortable and quiet. I liked the large bath towels and supply of toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the supply of fresh milk for the bedroom drinks was a great touch. The bar was cosy with a couple of snug areas. The dinning room was oldy worldy and had a lovely feel to it. Both the evening meals and breakfasts were great. Rosie was a great hostess and looked after us very well. The beer garden was nice and parking for guests was good. Only a short walk to the moor.
