Decor a bit dated but nothing to complain about

The room was what it was, clean but in need of some TLC the item that would improve it the most was a chair and maybe a foldown table so you had somewhere to sit rather than the bed !

Quality of bedding and towels good..Shower, although a wee bit basic was powerful with lots of hot water... Free parking a bonus.

Good value for a two-night work trip; café serving good breakfasts just opposite, and walking distance from several good restaurants.

Decor was rather tired;

I have stayed here a few times whilel visiting family. Not too bad. I tend not to have the breakfast- there are other places in town.

The rooms are variable. Ask for the largest ones left - I once had a tiny one.
