Bell House Hotel & Restaurant

Comfortable beds, clean throughout, fluffy towels, hot water, delicious breakfast. No silly signage everywhere that you get in corporate hotels and bed and breakfast places. Still requiring more refurbishment. Bar area in both evenings had a good happy atmosphere. Shame the prices go up at that Badminton Horse Trials weekend but that happens all over that area.

The hotel is an old building with sloping floors but it is very clean and I had a very comfortable bed. Good Wifi, plenty of hot water I found it quiet as well. Staff very good but busy. I didn't eat in the restaurant as it was full so it may be worth booking if you want to eat there otherwise there is another pub and restaurant in the village which weren't as busy I can only assume as it was so busy the food in the restaurant must be good (breakfast was excellent).

Room had very tired decor, dirty carpets. There was a noisy running tap and shower which could not be turned off. This kept me awake even with the bathroom door closed. Then no hot water for a bath or a shower in the morning

Very impressed with friendliness of staff at check in and the bar and food service. Food was wholesome and delicious both for the evening meal and breakfast. Location great as a stop over and minutes from the M4. If you want a nice friendly place to stay this is ideal.

Cold and no hot water

Stayed there for 3 nights last week as had a 4-day course in Chippenham, loved everything : location, staff, room, breakfast and evening meals, more than happy, thank you !

The hotel was easy to find, close to the motorway and handy for work in Chippenham.

Comfortable night in a cosy room, a little small but was a single room. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely.

Beautiful property and friendly staff but no wifi in the bedroom and breakfast was very limited, so overall overpriced for the service offered.
