The Aldwick

Friendly staff, lovely room, good location, excellent breakfast. This is a simple B&B that provides an excellent service and it is a few minutes walk from the beach. A great place to stay. There is a nice Italian around the corner with good pizza.

The Lady who ran it was really helpful, the breakfast had great choice even for people with allergies great location quiet but not far from amenities.

We were woking at an event in the local area so couldn't check into the property until nearly 8pm, We were met with a welcoming smile and a speedy check in, which was very much appreciated:). The twin room we stayed in and communal areas were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a great surprise, cooked fresh and delicious. Thank you for making us so welcome and looking after us so well. There was also plenty of parking on site.

It was conveniently situated, and well maintained. It felt like a family home.

Breakfast was good, although it finished a little too early for people on holidays.

In one of the bathrooms (we booked two rooms), the toilet was so close to the wall it was impossible to use sitting down. Shower over bath is never a good look, and this didn't work well. This bathroom needs completely revamping. Two of us had to stay in the smaller room, because the bathroom was more useable, while one of us stayed in the much bigger room, because the bathroom was a problem, and they could deal with it more easily.
