It is quirky and like a rabbit warren. Warm welcome, comfy room, good food. A cooling fan was very welcome .

Trying to work out how the shower worked - needed a degree in problem solving! Steep staircase and lots of doors upstairs.

A "classic" English town pub. Had a nice buzz, very friendly staff, and my room was nice, roomy and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was VERY NICE.

Only issue was that the pub closed early, so we couldn't get a drink when we got back and had to go to another place nearby for a nightcap. I think they missed a trick there as it was a Thursday night and several us were staying there.
