A lovely unique property with extremely welcoming staff. Great check in and staff helped me with carrying luggage to my room. A few cobwebs around the ceilings, a squeaky bed but a powerful shower and slept well! Breakfast was included and rang up before as I'm gluten free vegetarian. The person on the phone went to speak to the chef who said a cooked breakfast could be organised. On the day I was offered fruit and gluten free toast. Maybe looking into more options for a gluten free breakfast?

Somebody has spent a lot of money on refurbishing this place - and it shows. We had a nice, comfortable, themed room (Fagin room), plenty of space. Food in restaurant excellent. We'll be coming back.
