Great host and a chil led stay

Unfortunately when we arrived the receptionist advised us our bikes were not allowed in the hotel. In this day and age and with 1000’s of bikes descending on Eastbourne for an event th e receptionist v rudely said no bikes. Pouring with rain and standing on the door step thinking what else can we do. I advised we really had to as expensive bikes left in a car is not good. She v v rudely starting aggressively saying no . We rang a hotel around the corner and he was lovely and said yes bring them here and I’ll out them in the basement.

The property is well located, clean and the rooms comfortable.

The lady at the reception was unbelievably rude and unwelcoming. We were coming for a big yearly triathlon and needed to store our bikes in the hotel. It wasn't written anywhere we couldn't so that was a big issue as our bikes are costly. However, we could have understood the reason why if it had been explained to us kindly and in an apologetic manner. Unfortunately the lady at the reception was abrupt, unsupportive and wouldn't help us find a solution. Thankfully another hotel nearby helped us in the end. This is unacceptable.

Returning guests. Comfortable hotel in perfect location. Host is lovely. Recommended

We Booked this hotel on price as it was a long weekend in the UK and very few rooms were available , We arrived by car and no parking was available anywhere to drop off our bags , We had to park in a NO Parking area to get the bags out . The Room was up one level and was a bit hard to carry the bags up the stairs , The Lady help me with parking in the street later in the evening , Im sure if it was not a holiday weekend we been better off . The room did the job for the night and we got out of town very early to avoid the crowds .

The owner was really helpful recommending a great place to eat, heating was also great! Everything was spotless! Checkout time was 11am which was better for me than an earlier time. Everything I needed was provided. Great location next to the seafront but it was quiet too.

The room was tiny and it wouldn't suit everyone but everything was there including an ensuite. It suited me very well for one night and I was pleased that I chose it despite it being a tiny room.
