Location and experience

We really enjoyed the friendly staff, mostly locals from nearby village. The whole property was well kept and offer a variety of activities. The negatives were that in some booking places, it is listed as an adults-only property, when it actually accepts children. It wasn’t a deal breaker, but unexpected. Also, make sure you go over and keep tabs on what you order, so there will be no surprises at checkout.

The staff are wonderful and the cabins are really cute.

Food and beverage far too expensive, $10 for a bottle of water and an average of $40 per main. I don’t like that the resort is 4 km down off the main road. The beach isn’t great for swimming. The chef doesn’t know how to cook for foreigners, for example he served shrimps that hadn’t been peeled, and the chicken curry, not just with bones, but where the drumstick had been chopped into 10 pieces so that there are bone fragments that are tiny and have to be navigated in order to not choke! It wasn’t fun to eat. The flavours were good, the execution not.

Best place for us, such great staff and the location is unbeatable. Big thumbs up also to Minnie for fantastic boat tours, incl fishing and spearfishing, and Manassa for excellent cooking AND line fishing tutorials :)

Great value for money.Food was good and included breakfast was very good. Place had a friendly atmosphere. Next to village. People from village were very welcoming. Children were lovely to spend time with. Exceeded our expectations.

Some staff were great but spolit by the person doing the bookings who regularly over books the rooms. Staff who have worked for years here have only seen this sending guests to the other venue (Wellesly) in the last 4 months since the new bookings person.

Arrived after 10pm. Emailed to inform of arrival time 2 days prior to arrival. Arrived to find no one at check in. Security guard contacted someone who came down. Was told no booking, showed the confirmation email. And that payment had been taken from vredit card. She replied we are fully booked so sent us to "next door" resort 5km along dodgy rough roads that I was not surevyhevrental car would get out of. Arrived about 11.30pm and led down a shortcut path which was a narrow dirt track by torchlight. In bed about midnight to the gave to be up early to be back at Crosoes to sort out accomodation. Found out that the booing person has been in place 4 months and is regularly overselling bookings with a number of people being pushed to the other "resort" which is not what you pay for. Dinner menu 90% fish based. Spoke with another couple that phoned to ask if space, and was told yes then when Arrived were told they had no space but will bump the next arrivals to the other resort and put them in Crusoes resort. Staff aware of it and getting the brunt of the issues from Krishna's booking issues

Please place microwave in the rooms and t.v as well.
